Pennywise is a punk rock band from Hermosa Beach, California, that has been around since 1988. The band consists of Jim Lindberg (vocals), Fletcher Dragge (guitar), Randy Bradbury (bass), and Byron McMackin (drums).

Pennywise is known for their politically charged lyrics and aggressive, fast-paced sound. Pennywise has released ten studio albums, with their latest, Never Gonna Die, released in April 2018. Their most successful album to date is Full Circle, which was released in 2000 and reached number 41 on the Billboard 200. Other notable albums include Straight Ahead (1999), From the Ashes (2003), The Fuse (2005), Reason to Believe (2008), and Yesterdays (2014).

The band has been through many changes over the years, with members coming and going, but the current lineup has been together since 2009. They have toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, playing at festivals such as Warped Tour, Groezrock, and Punk Rock Holiday.

Pennywise has been credited with helping to popularize punk rock and skateboarding culture, and have inspired many bands over the years. They have received critical acclaim from publications such as Rolling Stone,
